This privacy policy explains how Spotty, developed by Frank Hermann, handles data.

Data collection and sharing

Spotty does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal or sensitive user data. The app has no accounts, advertising, analytics, crash-reporting service, or network communication.

On-device processing

Display testing and detection of connected displays happen locally on your device. Spotty may temporarily show the system-provided name of a connected display. This name is not retained or transmitted.

Data retention and deletion

Spotty does not store user data. There is therefore no user data retained by the app or available for deletion.

Google Play

Google Play may independently process installation, purchase, and diagnostic information under Google's Privacy Policy. Spotty does not receive this information.

Website hosting

This static website is hosted by Cloudflare. When you visit it, Cloudflare may process technically necessary request information such as your IP address, browser information, requested page, and request time to deliver and protect the site. The website uses no forms, advertising, analytics, or cookies set by us. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for details.

Changes to this policy will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
